The Biggest Biglaw Firms With The Most LGBTQ+ Lawyers (2025)

Gay Pride NYCLast month, thanks to the recently released National Law Journal 500 ranking, we found out which U.S.-centric Biglaw firms were the biggest of them all in terms of headcount. Now, as a new companion piece to the American Lawyer’s Diversity Scorecard, we’ll now delve into the LGBTQ+ Scorecard, a ranking of the percentages of self-identified LGBTQ+ attorneys overall, at the largest firms in the country.

As noted by the American Lawyer, representation for LGBTQ+ attorneys in law firms in 2023 was on the upswing:

Among the nation’s 350 largest law firms by attorney headcount, there are 223 that have reported the number of self-identified LGBTQ+ associates, partners and attorneys of other ranks at their firms. And there is a new entrant topping the LGBTQ+ Scorecard, which is ordered by representation from those groups. …

Overall, the percentage of LGBTQ+ attorneys at the top-ranked firms was slightly higher this year than it was last year
