Still, it’s the basis of a TikTok pinned by Don Kilam promoting his OnlyFans. Though unlike the fun version of OnlyFans, Kilam’s account just provides access to his educational materials like a lecture titled “Private Banking & Securities for Secured Parties.” You know… the sort of information that you definitely want to learn from someone who doesn’t think you need a license to practice law.
To be charitable, people can “be lawyers” for themselves without a license and a lot of Kilam’s materials seem aimed at personal finance tasks — setting up trusts, challenging debt collectors, and so on. Without having perused these lessons, they very well might offer subscribers sound lessons for do-it-yourself legal tasks. BUT that’s not the same as telling people that they don’t need licenses to practice law or quibbling about distinctions between lawyers and attorneys.
