Let’s face it: tens of thousands of students enroll in law school every year, each with a dream in their hearts of saving the world. Whatever their public-interest cause may be, only a select few will go on to accept a position that goes hand-in-hand with their do-gooder career goals.
Some law schools are better than others when it comes to getting their graduates a leg up on the competition for one of these coveted jobs. Law.com produced several helpful charts based on law school employment data for the class of 2022. Today, we will take a look at one of the more interesting charts for all of the service-minded future lawyers in this world, the law schools that sent the highest percentage of their most recent graduating class into public interest work.

1. CUNY: 40.96%
2. Northeastern: 22.58%
3. Lewis & Clark: 22.16%
4. Yale: 19.72%
5. Cincinnati: 17.69%
6. NYU: 16.28%
7. New Mexico: 15.38%
7. Northern Illinois: 15.38%
9. Kentucky: 15.12%
10. Buffalo: 15.04%
